Rachel Bennett, OTAL's Marketing Manager adds:

" The restructuring of the Nigeria Express (formerly the Express service) has a net result of more frequent sailings and improved transit times. The latter improving significantly from 12 to 9 days."

" Through this service OTAL has strengthened its position by offering a fast, regular and reliable service to Nigeria embracing the oil and gas sector as well as general and containerised cargo. Our service has the additional benefit of calling at both Tin Can and Apapa. "

" The Nigeria Express also offers a new call to Felixstowe re-establishing a direct link between Felixstowe and Nigeria with a fast 16-day transit. Felixstowe will generally benefit from a West African bound vessel departing every 4 days."

OTAL's weekly ro-ro service remains unchanged and is not part of this agreement.
