Egypt Travel Information

Egypt is a country mainly in North Africa, with the Sinai Peninsula forming a land bridge in Southwest Asia. It is one of the most populous countries in Africa and the Middle East, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Gaza Strip and Israel to the northeast, the Red Sea to the east, Sudan to the south and Libya to the west. Egypt or we can say the land of pyramids, minerals and Nile, made Visitors surprised to discover that those legendary pyramids are merely the tip of the archaeological iceberg.

Best Time to Visit: Egypt’s climate is easy to summarise, hot and dry, with the exception of the winter months of December, January and February, which can be quite cold in the north. Generally speaking, winter (December to February) is the tourist high season and summer (June to August) is the low season in all parts of the country except on the coasts, and to a lesser degree in Cairo. Hotel prices reflect this.
