OTAL's service rotations and schedules aim to provide our customers with a range of port calls, sailing frequencies and reduced transit times. Major West Africa ports are called on a weekly basis from Europe and the United Kingdom.

Weekly Container Service
----------------------------------------------------------------------

A direct container service that offers you the advantage of weekly calls on a fixed day service to the major West African Ports. Operated by five 1,600 TEU vessels.

This weekly container service calls at six West African ports on a fixed day basis offering fast transit times. For example from the port of Antwerp the transit time to Abidjan and Tema is only 11, and 15 days respectively.

The service meets:
The Nord Direct service at Dakar [for calls to Banjul, Nouakchott, Monrovia, Freetown]
The Nigeria Express at Abidjan [for Lagos Apapa and Lagos Tin Can]
The Ro-Ro service at Abidjan [for Matadi, Boma and Soyo]

Nigeria Express Service
----------------------------------------------------------------------

OTAL's Nigeria Express service is a direct service between North Europe and Nigeria offering competitive transit times of only 7 days from Felixstowe, 9 days from Antwerp, and 11 days from Hamburg. This service calls at both Lagos and Apapa terminals in Lagos.

Six 1,000 TEU container vessels will sail every 10 days with a rotation of 43 days.

RoRo Service
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The RoRo service utilises six 660 TEU multi-purpose roro vessels, one of which will sail every 7 days.

Able to carry containerised cargo in addition to rolling stock and project cargo, the service offers the fastest transit times in the trade to/from Europe and West Africa.

In addition, Matadi, Boma and Soyo will be served via the West Feeder 2 service leaving every 5 days from Point Noire (Congo).

Angola Shuttle Service

OTAL now offers a dedicated service to Angola from Portugal and Belgium. Calling at the main Portuguese ports of Leixoes and Lisbon this service offers some of the fastest transit times: Lisbon to Luanda, 12 day,; Leixoes to Luanda 13 days.

This service is operated by six 750 TEU vessels with a frequency of every 10 days.

Nord Direct Service

The Nord Direct service utilises two 750 TEU vessesls one of which will sail every 14 days.

The service offers the fastest transit times in the trade to/from Europe and the Northern range of West Africa ports covering the geographical range stretching from Casablanca, Morocco to Monrovia, Liberia.
